Hi, how nice that you came to my website!

Let me introduce myself briefly, my name is Ilse Sloof and I am a Fingerprint Technician  by profession. Since 2015 I have specialized in taking fingerprints for all kinds of purposes. My name is known to all major police organizations located outside Europe (because you never actually have to give your fingerprints in Europe).

My work career did not start as a fingerprint technician. I taught primary school for 10 years. After 10 years I wanted to do something different and I started the private detective training. A super interesting course that made me very enthusiastic. I then got a fantastic job at VKS and worked there from 2015 till 2023 with great pleasure.

After 8 years a new step came on my path. The same profession, but with the possibility to expand this profession. This is where Fingerprints & Screening started  and this is what I enjoy doing now. In addition to taking fingerprints and performing screening applications, I am also back to teaching. You can also find me as Juf Ilse. This is something I do on a very small scale next to Fingerprints & Screening, in order to be able to help a little with the large teacher shortage we have in the Netherlands.

So if you have received a request to apply for a Criminal Background Check or Police Clearance Certificate or Certificate of Clearance (all three names mean the same document, by the way) then you have come to the right place.

If you have any questions about taking fingerprints, feel free to contact me, even if you are not sure whether you should contact me. My knowledge is so extensive in the field of fingerprints, statements and biometrics that I can probably help you further.
